The City of Dallas Collects Caps for Recycle to the Final Four

Recycle to the Final Four caps in box, City of Dallas, Office of Environmental Quality, Zero WasteThe City of Dallas is proud to have participated in the Recycle to the Final Four sustainability program throughout November and December.  Numerous City departments, along with Dallas-area schools, hotels, and corporations, collected plastic bottle caps that are being sent to Connor Sports in Michigan.  There, they will be recycled and used in the manufacture of the court for the 2017 NCAA Women’s Final Four at the American Airlines Center.  , and it has helped to call attention to the benefits of recycling.  Representatives from the City of Dallas Office of Environmental Quality, along with DISD and other local organizations, attended the cap collection ceremony at the American Airlines Center on December 30th.
