The 2020 DFW Solar Tour is a free, virtual event on Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is your chance to see how homeowners and businesses use solar energy, wind energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies to save money and reduce consumption of natural resources. The strategies and techniques on display during this year’s virtual tour range from things as simple and easy as changing to LED light bulbs and selecting more efficient appliances, to cutting-edge, ultra-efficient eco-homes and businesses that are generating as much or more energy than they consume.
The DFW Solar Tour includes virtual tours of our most highly visited homes and business during the last few years. Home and business representatives will conduct live Q&A sessions. There will be a wide range of learning opportunities through the host sites, with a variety of topics to help you understand the basics of solar energy and storage, energy efficiency and sustainable practices. This is your chance to ask questions directly to the owners about purchasing & financing, as well as third party ownership options like equipment leases and more.
