If you’re thinking about doing a bit of home remodeling or possibly purchasing an appliance, now’s the time. The 2008 Energy Star sales tax holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2008. During this time, Texas shoppers will not have to pay state and local sales and use tax on purchases of certain energy efficient products.
